CURRICULUM
Wee Care provides an enriching environment for children who attend. We utilize the Creative Curriculum in all of our classrooms to address physical, educational and social/emotional development. In addition, we use the Parents As Teachers Center-based Model to encourage developmental progress. All children receive Brigance developmental screenings within their first 90-days of enrollment and two times a year thereafter to assess progress being made toward kindergarten readiness. Each child then receives individualized activities based on their developmental level. If a child receives early intervention or therapy, our center will work with parents and therapist on reaching goals. Our staff partners with parents to provide regular feedback and encourage completion of activities at home. Families are also provided with semi-monthly group opportunities to connect and develop supportive relationships with one another.
