EVENTS & FUNDRAISERS

Fundraisers and events are vital to our agency as the funding they generate accounts for one-third of our operating budget. Participation in these events and fundraisers are a great way to support our child abuse prevention programs and have fun while doing so!

Run & Walk for Children

The Run & Walk for Children is FEC's longest-running fundraising event and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026! This event is held on the last Saturday in March and features a half marathon, 5K run, a 5K walk, and a one-mile kids' fun run with proceeds directly benefiting our Wee Care Childcare Center. Registration opens November 1st!

FORE! Our Kids Golf Scramble

Close out April Child Abuse Prevention Month by joining us for a day on the golf course! FORE! Our Kids offers a morning and afternoon flight complete with a lite breakfast, lunch, snacks and two complimentary beers. This scramble directly benefits our Parents as Teachers, Little Learners Program.

Mud Happens

We'll have you crawling, climbing, running and more at the annual Mud Happens, One Bad Mud Run event!  Register your employees as a team-building exercise, gather your closest friends, or come solo, but most importantly--prepare to get muddy! Registration opens May 1st.
