We will discuss the potential concerns for children coming into care with various backgrounds and traditions, and how the foster family can respect their past and the family of origin while incorporating the child into their own family traditions with minimal disruption. The training will also provide current foster parents sharing their experiences and have a time for families in the training to discuss specific situations they may be facing.
