This training will provide information for foster families about typical developmental tasks of children who are in elementary school, including common behavioral challenges children exhibit. Specific strategies for assisting elementary aged children will be presented that will promote the success of the placement and assist the family in providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in their care.
