Foster parents are given the responsibility of parenting children who have often had trauma, and their resulting behaviors have a huge impact on the foster parents.This training will define secondary trauma, identify some underlying reasons for this secondary trauma, and define specific strategies based on principles of TF-CBT to assist foster parents in managing the impact of the child's trauma.
